Located in a suburb of Seattle our hospital offers key services including the Family Birth Center, advanced Diagnostic, Heart Care and Orthopedic services and our Oncology Cancer Care Centers. We also offer the high-tech heart Catheterization Lab, part of our sophisticated heart care services; the homey comforts of the Family Birth Center and the modern Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) facility, all located at on the hospital campus.
We seeking an experienced Registered Nurse - EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT. Must have Registered Nurse WA license, BLS, ACLS Preferred. We are offering 36 or 40 hour shifts, Days or Nights!!
Emergency Department RN responsibilities include:
Assesses, plans and evaluates patient care needs. Prioritizes patient care based on acuity level and available resources. Carries out physician orders. Assists physician during examination, treatment and procedures. Administers prescribed medications, changes dressings, cleans wounds, monitors vital signs. Serves as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well coordinated patient care. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems. Instructs and educates patients and families. Assesses and coordinates patients discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. Provides age and culturally appropriate care. Orients and mentors new staff members. Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required
